Full Job Description

Position Summary

An administrative-level role responsible for managing and maintaining all aspects of school technology infrastructure and equipment in support of faculty, staff, and students at Maine Central Institute.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Provide strategic vision and planning to ensure all technology assets are appropriate, functional, and utilized professionally.
Manage and maintain all technology resources including budgets, network infrastructure, academic and administrative systems, hardware/software, and phone services.
Create and manage the technology budget for the institution.
Provide and maintain a high-quality technology support environment for all faculty, staff, and students.
Work with school leadership to develop and implement strategies for effective technology integration into the curriculum.
Establish and monitor information technology standards, procedures, and policies.

Skills & Experience

IT leadership experience with proven success managing technology resources and services, preferably in an educational setting.
Ability to articulate a technology vision and develop strategic and operational IT plans in collaboration with academic and administrative leadership.
Demonstrated ability to build productive partnerships with end users through effective communication and interpersonal skills.
High commitment to quality and comfort working in a fast-paced, high-standards organization.
Excellent oral, written, and analytical communication and problem-solving skills.
Working knowledge of hardware, software, networking, and related enterprise technologies.
