Full Job Description

The Opportunity

As the Director of Operations you will be responsible of to leading the broker-dealer operations team. We are seeking a candidate who is passionate for serving advisors and their clients, while seeking to enhance the efficiencies and services of the department, develop and train personnel, and support new and existing businesses.

About The Opportunity:

Compensation - $150,000 - 180,000 annual base salary
Location - Atlanta, GA 30345

Your Responsibilities:

Operations & Relationship Management

Broker-Dealer & Advisory Operations: Oversee end-to-end account opening processes, ensuring high-quality transaction processing, and driving swift problem resolution to maintain premium customer service.
Custodial & Vendor Partnerships: Manage critical custodial relationships and act as the primary point person for vendor and partner management.
Technology Optimization: Ensure optimal utilization of operations technology and collaborate directly with vendors to establish operational "best practices."
Training & Implementation: Spearhead ongoing internal and vendor-led training on software enhancements, as well as proactively identify and deploy new technologies to scale departmental capacity.

Advisor Onboarding & Transitions

Transition Strategy Support: Partner with the Transition Manager to seamlessly onboard new advisors, directly managing account openings and Automated Customer Account Transfers.
System Integration: Execute the integration of all incoming clients and advisors into back-office, commission, and fee-paying systems.
Account Migration: Orchestrate Broker-Dealer changes for direct mutual fund and insurance accounts, and actively monitor data migration to ensure 100% accuracy.

Compensation Leadership & Oversight

Departmental Leadership: Provide strategic direction, leadership, and daily management to the Advisor Compensation team.
Quality Assurance: Perform final comprehensive reviews on all departmental deliverables to guarantee absolute accuracy in commission and advisory fee processing.
Process Automation: Refine and maximize technology utilization within the compensation department to eliminate manual errors and create workflow efficiencies.

Required Experience:

Industry Background: Minimum of 7 years of experience in financial operations and a minimum of 5 years of experience in operations management.
Management Experience: Proven and successful managemental skills, encompassing both personnel and project management.
Credentials: Active Series 7 and Series 24 (or 9 and 10) Licenses, as well as a Bachelor's Degree.
Industry Relationships: Experience working the Pershing (required), as well as Schwab, Fidelity, or Albridge.
Systems Experience: Experience with Black Diamond and/or other performance reporting systems, and RedTail or other CRM.
Analytical Skills: Ability to identify relevant data and insights, and present in an actionable manner.
