Full Job Description

Intermountain Claims, Inc., a premier regional independent claims adjusting and insurance services company, is seeking an Auto/ Heavy Equipment Appraiser in the Idaho Falls/Pocatello, Idaho region to handle auto and heavy equipment appraisal claims. This is an excellent career opportunity, with competitive compensation and full benefit package, paid time off, and numerous learning and development opportunities.

Requirements:

The basic requirements for this position include:

Knowledge of automobiles, motorcycles, vehicles, tractor/ trailer and other specialized heavy equipment, appraisal, repair and claim handling including knowledge of standard labor rates, local body shops, and client guidelines.
3 years auto body/ heavy equipment/auto appraisal experience preferred.
Have an insurance adjuster’s license or a willingness to complete the adjuster licensing course and successfully complete the state exam.
Computer skills including a working knowledge of CCC, Truck Writer, Word, Excel, Email, and Data Entry.
Travel (day trips only) is required, as is a reliable vehicle, current driver's license, and be bondable.

A successful candidate should possess:

Excellent organization skills with the ability to prioritize tasks, work independently, and be a “self-starter”.
Effective Communication: Good reporting and writing skills and the ability to effectively communicate with clients.
Honest, Ethical Character.
