Full Job Description

Accounts Payable LHH Recruitment is working with a company near Central Phoenix who is in search of a full time accounts payable candidate to join their team. This role is fully onsite, Monday-Friday. The hourly rate is between $26/hr-$28/hr.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, high-volume environment and enjoys being part of a collaborative team.

Responsibilities

Process a high volume of vendor invoices accurately and efficiently.
Perform three-way matching of invoices, purchase orders, and receiving documents.
Research and resolve invoice discrepancies and vendor inquiries.
Prepare and process weekly check runs, ACH, and wire payments.
Reconcile vendor statements and maintain accurate vendor records.
Ensure invoices are coded correctly and entered into the appropriate general ledger accounts.
Assist with month-end closing activities related to accounts payable.
Maintain organized AP files and documentation while ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
Collaborate with internal departments and vendors to resolve payment issues in a timely manner.

Qualifications

3+ years of recent, full-cycle Accounts Payable experience.
Experience processing high-volume invoices(at least 100/day) is required.
Experience working within a large ERP system such as SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, Microsoft Dynamics, JD Edwards, or similar is required.
QuickBooks experience alone will not meet the requirements for this role.
Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize multiple deadlines.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
