Experienced Manufacturing Machine Operator

Position Overview

We are a growing organization seeking motivated individuals to join our team of skilled and dedicated professionals. We are currently hiring full-time Manufacturing Technicians for our production facility. This is an excellent opportunity to build and advance a career in a dynamic manufacturing environment.

Our facility features state-of-the-art production equipment, and our team is recognized for its industry expertise. We pride ourselves on being a fast-paced, flexible, and customer-focused organization committed to continuous improvement and operational excellence.

Available Shifts

2nd Shift: 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM

Key Responsibilities

Prepare machines for production at the start of each shift, including materials and documentation
Set up and operate automated manufacturing equipment safely and efficiently
Configure and run multiple machines while maintaining high-quality standards
Complete job setups independently, including mounting bracketry, sensors, glue heads, and cameras, as well as routing cables and glue lines
Perform quality control checks to ensure product specifications are met
Conduct routine preventative maintenance on machinery
Troubleshoot and resolve equipment issues in a timely manner
Maintain a clean and organized work environment
Replenish consumable materials for subsequent shifts
Meet production deadlines and performance targets
Perform additional duties as assigned
Overtime may be available and required based on business needs

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent (preferred)
Minimum of 3 years of relevant manufacturing experience (preferred)
Strong mechanical aptitude
Proficiency with computers and basic software systems
Experience with automated manufacturing equipment (e.g., inkjet, bindery, SmartPak, mail sorters, Kirk-Rudy machines) is a plus
Background in digital printing or direct mail industry preferred
Working knowledge of digital cameras, machine vision systems, optics, and illumination technologies
Solid math and problem-solving skills
Ability to read and understand intermediate-level English
Strong attention to detail and ability to perform repetitive tasks
Demonstrated reliability, strong work ethic, and consistent attendance

Physical Requirements

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs from floor to waist
Ability to stand, bend, twist, and perform repetitive motions throughout the shift
