About Kappa Books Publishers

Are you the kind of person who sees what needs to be done and jumps in to make it happen? Do you thrive in a fast-paced environment where no two days are the same? Kappa Books Publishers is looking for a part-time Administrative Assistant to support our growing team.

Kappa is one of the nation’s top publishers, specializing in puzzle and game magazines and books, coloring and activity books, seasonal products, and educational books for children.

We are seeking someone who will join our dynamic team. If you love organization, problem-solving, and keeping things running smoothly, we’d love to hear from you!

Responsibilities Include:

Administrative Assistance: General office help as needed.
Inventory Management: Work closely with the Warehouse Manager to do inventory adjustments and cycle counts.
Order Entry: Responsible for entering customer orders.
Email Correspondence: Communicating via email as directed.
File Organization: Maintaining and organizing digital and physical files related to ongoing projects.
Database Management: Updating and managing contact lists and project timelines.
Timeline Monitoring: Assisting in tracking project timelines and deadlines to ensure all tasks are completed on schedule.
Mock-Ups: Creating mock-up versions of books for presentations and review.
Process Sample Orders: Prepare and ship product samples and maintain sample inventory.

What You Bring:

A high-energy, proactive mindset—you’re always looking for the next way to help.
Highly proficient with Microsoft Excel –you’re comfortable creating and formatting reports. You should be proficient with basic formulas.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
The ability to juggle multiple tasks while keeping everything on track.
A team-oriented, problem-solving attitude.
