Full Job Description

CANDIDATE MUST HAVE A MINIMUM OF TWO YEARS OF PAID PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE IN PROVIDING COURT-ORDERED SUPERVISED VISITS BETWEEN PARENTS AND CHILDREN AND PRODUCING DETAILED REPORTS TO THE COURT. MUST BE ABLE TO READ AND INTERPRET COURT ORDERS.

Candidate must include a one paragraph writing sample of a supervised visits. Inquiries and resumes sent without required writing sample will automatically be rejected.

Candidate responsibilities include monitoring parents who may have a history domestic violence, child abuse, substance abuse, parental abduction and mental illness. Individual must monitor each visit and produce a report documenting the parent-child interactions, behaviors, activities, and violations of the visit. Candidate may have to terminate a visit for the protection of the children. formal visitation reports must be submitted for court review.

Candidates must demonstrate experience in addressing hostile situations (i.e., terminating visits if harmful to children). Candidates must possess mandatory child abuse reporting and training

Candidates must have the following minimum requirements:

Must have a current AZDPS LEVEL 1 Fingerprint Clearance Card
Must have basic knowledge of family and juvenile court procedures and be able to read and enforce child custody orders and orders of protection.
Must be available to work afternoons and weekends.
Must have a valid Arizona driver's license with reliable transportation
Must have never been arrested for any felony or any crime involving domestic violence or crimes against children
Must not have previously been under an order for supervised visitation or have any child protective agency in any jurisdiction.
Must be a minimum of 25 years of age and have a high school diploma.
Must be physically fit to walk 1 mile and lift 40 pounds.

Hourly Wage:

$35 per hour, double time for federal legal holidays and bonus incentives.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10 – 25 per week

Work Location: Remote
