Full Job Description

Are you ready to be the front-facing driver of growth, connecting a market-leading specialty contractor with key B2B clients in the Raleigh construction industry? Do you excel at owning the entire business development pipeline, from targeted outreach and lead generation to crafting winning proposals under tight deadlines?

We are currently seeking a Business Development Professional for our valued client, Egan Company to work in Egan's Raleigh, NC office. This person will oversee business development efforts for the Industrial Controls business group.

This full-time, hybrid role focuses on developing business through targeted campaigns, lead generation, and fostering strong internal and external partnerships. If you are knowledgeable in industrial controls and skilled in crafting compelling B2B materials, coordinating with cross-functional teams, and connecting with customers at industry events, we'd love to have you on our growing North Carolina team.

Key Responsibilities

Own the entire proposal process, including RFPs, RFQs, and RFIs, working with operations and project teams to write and produce strategic responses under tight deadlines
Draft, write, and edit all essential corporate content, such as project experience and bios, for marketing and business development efforts
Manage and distribute web leads, execute targeted outreach campaigns, and generate new leads for specific trades and services
Execute and attend trade shows, special events, and networking opportunities to promote the brand and engage with customers
Maintain brand identity, ensure consistent quality control and proofreading, and utilize the CRM system for prospecting, list procurement, and managing campaign analytics

Position Requirements

Bachelors Degree in Business, Marketing, or a closely related field
3+ years of relevant work experience in a business or marketing capacity.
Experience with CRM and email marketing platforms, as well as intermediate to advanced technical skills in Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, and Slides).
Strong organizational and project management skills are required to manage and execute multiple projects under competing deadlines.
