Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Meat Cutter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for the food industry and a commitment to delivering high-quality products to our customers. As a Meat Cutter, you will play a vital role in food production, ensuring that all meat products are cut, prepared, and packaged to meet our standards of excellence. Your expertise in meat cutting and food handling will contribute to our mission of providing fresh and delicious options for our clientele.

Duties

Perform meat cutting tasks with precision, including slicing, trimming, and deboning various types of meat.
Ensure that all meat products are prepared according to health and safety regulations.
Maintain cleanliness and organization in the meat preparation area, adhering to strict hygiene standards.
Package meat products for display and sale, ensuring proper labeling and presentation.
Collaborate with kitchen staff and management to fulfill customer orders efficiently.
Provide excellent customer service by answering questions regarding meat cuts and preparation methods.
Assist in inventory management by monitoring stock levels of meat products and supplies.

Experience

Previous experience in meat cutting or food production is preferred.
Familiarity with culinary techniques and kitchen operations is advantageous.
Strong knowledge of food handling practices and safety regulations within the food industry.
Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with team members and customers alike.
A background in restaurant or culinary settings is a plus but not required.
