Full Job Description

POSITION SUMMARY

We are seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented Production Assistant to support our Home Textiles team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys managing multiple projects while working closely with overseas factories, internal teams, and customers. The Production Assistant will play a key role in keeping product development and production projects on schedule by coordinating samples, tracking timelines, maintaining development documents, and ensuring clear communication throughout the process

RESPONSIBILITIES

Assist with daily product development and production activities.
Communicate with overseas factories regarding samples, approvals, costing, and production status.
Track development timelines from concept through production.
Maintain sample libraries and organize incoming and outgoing packages.
Create and update product development tracking reports and spreadsheets.
Review sample submissions for completeness before internal review.
Prepare development requests and production documentation.
Organize artwork, specifications, construction details, and approvals.
Follow up with factories to ensure deadlines are met.
Coordinate shipping of samples and production materials.
Support buyer meetings by organizing products, presentations, and samples.
Maintain accurate records of costing, purchase orders, and development status.
Assist with special projects as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS

1–3 years of experience in production, product development, sourcing, merchandising, or a related field.
Experience in home textiles, soft goods, or apparel is preferred. Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Strong attention to detail.
Ability to prioritize multiple projects simultaneously.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint. Comfortable working with overseas factories across different time zones.
Self-motivated with a proactive, problem-solving attitude

Pay: $60,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
