Team members are expected to deliver a standard of excellence, which is why the pay that we offer is excellent as well.

Job Description:
Hair Stylist:
We are seeking a diligent, coachable and highly-motivated individual who has a passion for hair. Candidates will have an opportunity to earn profit share and $40k per year - $65K per year. If you can't find a way to get to work on time every time don't apply.

The Vision

To create a Men's Grooming Lounge that caters to the modern man who is looking for an experience not just a haircut. At Elephant in the Room we are committed to supporting the mentorship of the next generation of men and boys through the It Starts With One campaign.

The Atmosphere

In order to create an environment that men find to be relaxing, upscale and 100% man, we hold our team members to a quality standard that is different from our competitors. When you walk into the lounge you will immediately know what we're all about. The lounge has been designed with discerning men in mind. Our environment features historic reclaimed barn-wood, customs countertops, and rustic stacked stone accents. In the lounge clients can enjoy a beverage of your choice while watching ESPN on the big screen and chatting it up with the guys.

What the Elephant Room Isn't?

At Elephant in the Room, we pride ourselves on the details such as customer service and the overall experience we show to each guest. We don't focus on cutting corners and reducing our standards of quality in order to offer the cheapest men's haircut location in Tulsa.

The Leadership Team

The team is currently led by Clay Clark (CEO) and Jonathan Barnett (Chairman of the Board). Clay Clark is a successful entrepreneur, author, contributing writer for Entrepeneur.com and the former US Small Business Administration Entrepreneur. Jonathan Barnett is the founder of one of America's fastest growing franchises (OXI Fresh -- based in Denver, Colorado) and has been featured in Forbes, Fox Business and countless other publications.

The Mission

At the Elephant In the Room we believe that one of the biggest problems in every city is breakdown of the family and the effect it has on young men. To show our support and to help make a difference, with each service that is sold at our Lounge we proudly make a donation to a local charity that helps support and mentor fatherless boys.
