About Echo Imaging Solutions

Echo Imaging Solutions is an established outpatient cardiac imaging center with locations in South Portland and Bucksport, Maine. We provide high-quality echocardiograms to a growing base of self-pay and insured patients across the state, supported by a strong referral network, active insurance contracts, and Athenahealth EHR. We're expanding into outpatient cardiology consultations and looking for a cardiologist to grow with us.

The Opportunity

This is a 1099 contract role built for a cardiologist who wants autonomy, flexibility, and a direct stake in what they build. You'll earn a percentage of collected claims — no salary cap, no productivity ceiling. As patient volume grows, your income grows with it.

We're also open to discussing echocardiogram interpretation as an additional service line, making this a natural fit for someone with imaging interest or experience.

What's Already in Place

Active contracts with major Maine health insurance plans
Athenahealth EHR
Google Ads campaigns generating consistent inbound patient inquiries
Established referring provider and patient network
Billing and administrative support

You focus on patients. We handle the infrastructure.

What We're Looking For

MD or DO with board certification in Cardiovascular Disease
Active Maine medical license (or willingness to obtain)
Interest in outpatient consultations in a non-hospital, autonomous setting
Open to echocardiogram interpretation — experience preferred but not required
Entrepreneurially minded and interested in building something, not just filling a shift

Compensation

Percentage of collected claims. No salary, no cap. Volume-based concierge model with both self-pay and insured patients.
