Full Job Description

Respite Center Case Aide

Location: Clallam County Respite Center (Port Angeles, WA)

Pay range: $20 to $23 per hour plus $2,000 signing bonus

Rotating 12-hour schedule consisting of 3 shifts one week and 4 shifts the following week:

FT Float 3pm to 3am Friday, Saturday, Sunday and every other Monday (schedule may adjust based on coverage needs)

About the Role:
The Respite Center Case Aide supports individuals in crisis at our 6-bed mental health respite center. You’ll play a key role in providing observation, support, and coordination of care for clients in a safe, recovery-focused environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Monitor and support individuals experiencing mental health crises
Coordinate care with clinicians, DCRs, nurses, and other providers
Assist with admissions, discharges, and medication self-administration
Offer emotional support, referrals, and skill-building encouragement
Communicate with outside care partners and support teams
Help with meals, housekeeping, and maintaining a clean, safe facility
Accurately document services using the electronic medical record system

What You’ll Need:

High School Diploma or GED required
One year experience in a clinical or behavioral health setting preferred
Valid WA driver’s license with insurable driving record
Agency Affiliated Counselor registration (we help you obtain this)
CPR/First Aid certification and Food Worker Permit
Ability to pass a background check, drug screen, and provide immunization records (MMR, HepB, Tdap and flu shot)

Are comfortable working with adults experiencing mental health symptoms
Can perform light housekeeping and safely lift up to 35 pounds

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience supporting individuals with mental health needs
Familiarity with CareLogic or similar EMR systems
