Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Chandlers Chef de Cuisine to lead our culinary team in delivering exceptional dining experiences. This pivotal role involves overseeing all aspects of kitchen operations, from menu development and food preparation to team supervision and food safety compliance. The ideal candidate will bring a passion for fine dining, extensive culinary expertise, and proven leadership skills to inspire excellence in every dish served. As a key figure in our hospitality environment, you will ensure that high standards of quality, safety, and customer satisfaction are consistently met and exceeded.

Responsibilities

Lead and manage the entire kitchen team, fostering a collaborative and motivated work environment.
Develop innovative menus that reflect culinary trends while maintaining operational feasibility and cost control.
Oversee food production processes, ensuring dishes meet high standards of quality, presentation, and consistency.
Supervise food handling, preparation, and serving to adhere strictly to food safety sanitizing procedures and regulations.
Manage inventory control, including ordering, stock rotation, and minimizing waste to optimize food costs.
Coordinate catering events and banquet services, ensuring seamless execution from setup to service.
Implement kitchen policies related to dietary requirements, allergy management, and special dietary accommodations.
Monitor shift operations, manage staffing schedules, and oversee training programs for culinary staff.
Maintain compliance with health department standards and conduct regular safety audits within the kitchen environment.
Support restaurant management by contributing to menu planning, cost management, and overall service excellence.

Qualifications

Extensive culinary experience with a strong background in fine dining environments.
Proven supervising experience with the ability to lead diverse teams effectively.
Demonstrated expertise in food production, catering, banquet services, and restaurant management.
Knowledge of food safety sanitizing procedures, inventory management, and cost control strategies.
Experience in managing dietary departments or special dietary needs is highly desirable.
Strong skills in food handling, cooking techniques, kitchen management, and food service operations.
Familiarity with inventory control systems and food industry best practices.
Excellent leadership qualities with the ability to motivate teams and manage shift operations efficiently.
Previous experience managing large-scale catering or banquet events is preferred.
A passion for hospitality combined with excellent communication skills to ensure outstanding service delivery.
