Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and highly skilled Electrical Project Manager to lead and oversee complex electrical construction projects from inception to completion. This role offers an exciting opportunity to coordinate multidisciplinary teams, manage project schedules, and ensure the successful delivery of electrical systems that meet safety standards, client specifications, and budget expectations. The ideal candidate will possess strong electrical engineering expertise, exceptional project management skills, and a passion for driving projects forward with energy and precision. Duties

Lead the planning, execution, and closing of electrical construction projects, ensuring adherence to scope, schedule, and budget.
Coordinate with clients, contractors, vendors, and internal teams to facilitate seamless project workflows.
Develop detailed project schedules using Primavera P6 or similar tools; monitor progress and adjust plans proactively.
Review blueprints, schematics, system designs, and technical specifications to ensure accuracy and compliance with NEC (National Electrical Code) standards.
Manage procurement processes including construction estimating, contracts, and subcontractor negotiations.
Oversee construction site activities ensuring safety protocols are followed; conduct regular site inspections for quality assurance.
Utilize software tools such as ProCore and Bluebeam for project documentation, RFIs (Requests for Information), change orders, and reporting.
Ensure all electrical systems are designed and installed in accordance with industry standards; review system schematics and drawings regularly.
Track project costs using HeavyBid or similar estimating software; control expenses without compromising quality or safety.
Maintain comprehensive records of project progress, change orders, safety incidents, and client communications.

Experience

Proven experience managing large-scale electrical construction projects within the heavy civil or industrial sectors.
Strong background in electrical engineering principles, system design, blueprint reading, and schematics interpretation.
Demonstrated expertise in construction management practices including scheduling , contracts administration, and project coordination.
Familiarity with NEC regulations and safety standards applicable to electrical installations on construction sites.
Hands-on experience with construction site activities including installation oversight and troubleshooting electrical systems.
Proficiency in project management software such as ProCore, Bluebeam, Primavera P6, AccuBid; ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Excellent time management skills combined with a proactive approach to problem-solving and decision-making.
Prior experience working on complex projects requiring detailed construction estimating and contract negotiations is highly desirable.
