Marketing Assistant

As a Marketing Assistant, you’ll play a hands-on role in shaping their marketing campaigns, helping turn complex ideas into clear, effective messaging that drives real results.

MARKETING ASSISTANT

The Marketing Assistant supports the CEO and marketing team in coordinating and executing comprehensive marketing campaigns for a range of clients. This role plays a central part in keeping projects organized, communication clear, and deliverables on schedule.

The Marketing Assistant participates in client-facing meetings, captures key action items, coordinates project timelines, and facilitates communication between clients and internal team members. This position also manages email marketing initiatives, assists with marketing content development, and helps ensure that campaigns align with client objectives.

Success in this role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, excellent written communication, and the ability to manage multiple client projects and deadlines.

Roles and responsibilities:

Client and Project Coordination

Participate in client meetings, capture action items, and coordinate follow-up tasks.
Manage and schedule client meetings, including preparing agendas and distributing deliverables.
Communicate with clients to ensure timelines, expectations, and deliverables are clearly understood.
Assist the CEO in managing multiple client projects and nationwide marketing campaigns.
Track project progress and ensure deliverables are completed on schedule.

Email Marketing & Campaign Support

Manage email marketing campaigns, including scheduling, content coordination, and list organization.
Coordinate e-blast campaigns supporting educational webinars and marketing initiatives.
Monitor campaign analytics and assist with post-event or campaign follow-up.

Content Development

Assist with development of marketing content including website copy, email campaigns, and sales materials.
Work with subject matter experts and internal team members to ensure content accuracy.
Collaborate with designers to develop visual marketing assets.

Internal Organization & Workflow

Maintain organized internal file structures and manage client assets.
Use project management software to track tasks, deadlines, and deliverables.
Coordinate work between internal team members to ensure smooth project execution.
Track time and activities for project billing and internal reporting.

Ideal qualifications:

Outstanding organizational skills and strong time management abilities.
Exceptional attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy across multiple projects.
Ability to multi-task, prioritize work, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Strong independent work ethic with the ability to take initiative and follow through on tasks.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Comfortable communicating directly with clients, developing and continuing trusting relationships.
Ability to stay organized while managing multiple project timelines and deliverables.
Experience with technical construction products or the building industry is a plus.
Experience with Click-up, HubSpot, time tracking software is a plus.

Required Tech Proficiency:

Expertise in Microsoft 365 applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
Navigate and organize files within Windows file systems/shared servers
Basic experience with Adobe Acrobat Pro for viewing and editing PDFs
Expertise in with Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Drive, Google Meet)
Experience using Microsoft Teams for communication and meetings

Job Type: 30 hours per week, can vary depending on schedule.

Hours: some flexibility, typical hours: 9am – 3pm.

This job is available for immediate hire, and all training is paid on the job.

Pay: $20.00 - $26.00 per hour
