Client Acquisition Specialist (Part-Time)

Location: Remote (U.S.) | Preference for candidates available during CST business hours

Pay: $20/hour + Performance Incentives

Hours: 10–15 hours per week

SocialSoule is a boutique marketing agency helping hospitality, wellness, beauty, fitness, and lifestyle brands grow through strategic social media marketing, content creation, and SEO.

We're intentionally selective about who we work with. Rather than chasing volume, we focus on building long-term partnerships with businesses that value strategy, creativity, and measurable growth.

We're looking for someone who is excited by business development and enjoys identifying opportunities, starting conversations, and helping bring ideal-fit clients into the agency.

This role is directly tied to agency growth. Your work will contribute to increasing qualified opportunities, generating revenue, and expanding SocialSoule's client portfolio.

What You'll DoProspecting & Lead Generation

Research businesses that align with SocialSoule's ideal client profile.
Build targeted prospect lists across hospitality, beauty, wellness, fitness, and lifestyle industries.
Identify decision-makers and gather relevant business insights before outreach.
Maintain an organized pipeline of qualified opportunities.

Client Acquisition

Conduct personalized outbound outreach through email, LinkedIn, Instagram, phone calls, and other channels.
Start meaningful conversations with business owners and marketing decision-makers.
Qualify prospects based on budget, goals, timeline, and fit.
Book high-quality discovery calls for the founder.
Consistently follow up with prospects until a clear decision is reached.

Revenue Growth

Help generate new business opportunities that contribute directly to agency revenue.
Identify upsell, referral, and partnership opportunities.
Recommend improvements to outreach messaging and lead generation strategies.
Collaborate with the founder to improve conversion rates throughout the sales pipeline.

CRM & Sales Operations

Keep CRM records updated and organized.
Track outreach metrics and pipeline performance.
Report weekly on lead generation activity, booked meetings, and pipeline progress.
Help optimize business development systems as the agency grows.

Who You Are

You enjoy building relationships, but you're equally motivated by creating opportunities and driving business growth.

You aren't afraid to start conversations with business owners, ask thoughtful questions, and consistently follow up.

You understand that successful business development is equal parts strategy, persistence, and communication.

Required Qualifications

1+ year of experience in business development, B2B sales, lead generation, outbound prospecting, recruiting, or a similar revenue-focused role.
Comfortable initiating conversations with business owners you've never met.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Excellent organization and follow-through.
Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
Comfortable learning CRM platforms and sales tools.
Proficient with Google Workspace.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience working in or selling marketing, advertising, creative, branding, or digital agencies.
Experience with outbound prospecting via LinkedIn, email, cold calling, or social selling.
Familiarity with CRM platforms such as HoneyBook, HubSpot, Zoho, or similar.
Understanding of digital marketing, SEO, and social media marketing.
Experience using AI tools like ChatGPT or Claude to streamline research and outreach.

What Success Looks Like

Within your first 90 days, you'll:

Build a consistent pipeline of ideal-fit prospects.
Generate qualified discovery calls each month.
Maintain strong outreach and follow-up activity.
Help improve SocialSoule's client acquisition process.
Contribute directly to bringing new revenue into the agency.

Compensation

$20/hour
10–15 hours per week
Flexible weekday scheduling

Performance Incentives

Bonus for qualified discovery calls that attend.
Bonus for new clients that sign and complete their first payment.
Additional incentives tied to revenue milestones as the agency grows.

Growth Opportunity

As SocialSoule grows, this position can evolve into a full-time Business Development Manager or Account Executive role with increased compensation, leadership opportunities, and ownership over the agency's sales process.
