Overview

Join our dedicated healthcare team as a Hospice Liaison, where your passion for compassionate care and exceptional communication skills will make a meaningful difference in patients’ lives. In this vital role, you will serve as the primary point of contact between hospice services and referral sources, fostering strong relationships and ensuring seamless coordination of care. Your energetic approach and proactive mindset will drive outreach efforts, promote hospice programs, and support families during challenging times. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to combine sales expertise with heartfelt service, making a positive impact in the community.

Duties

Develop and maintain relationships with healthcare providers, community organizations, and referral sources to promote hospice services and increase patient admissions
Conduct product demonstrations and educational presentations to medical professionals about hospice care options and benefits
Manage a designated territory by identifying new referral opportunities and nurturing existing client relationships through regular visits and follow-ups
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure smooth patient transitions and coordinate care plans effectively
Utilize CRM (Customer Relationship Management) systems to track interactions, manage leads, and analyze referral patterns for strategic planning
Negotiate agreements with healthcare facilities and providers to facilitate patient referrals while ensuring compliance with regulatory standards
Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries promptly, resolving concerns professionally, and building trust with clients and families

Skills

Strong negotiation skills combined with account management experience in B2B sales environments
Proven success in outside sales, including territory management and meeting or exceeding sales goals
Expertise in product demos, technical sales experience, especially within medical or scientific equipment sectors
Excellent communication skills for client communication, presentations, and relationship building
Demonstrated leadership abilities to guide teams or influence stakeholders effectively
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint) and CRM systems for data analysis and reporting
Customer service orientation with a focus on compassionate client interactions during sensitive situations
Organizational skills to manage multiple accounts efficiently while maintaining detailed records of all interactions
Knowledge of pharmaceutical, medical sales, or enterprise selling strategies is highly desirable
Field sales experience within healthcare settings enhances your ability to succeed in this role
