We work with clients across multiple industries, with a strong focus on technology companies, professional services firms, manufacturers, and growing businesses nationwide.

We pride ourselves on delivering exceptional service, being a trusted advisor to our clients, and creating long-term relationships through proactive account management.

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced, licensed Commercial Insurance Account Manager to join our growing team. This role is primarily focused on servicing an existing book of business while also identifying opportunities to increase coverage and strengthen client relationships through consultative selling.

The ideal candidate enjoys both client service and sales, can manage accounts independently, and thrives in a fast-paced remote environment.

This is a salary-based position with performance bonuses and growth opportunities.

Responsibilities Client Service & Account Management

Manage and service an existing commercial lines book of business.
Issue certificates of insurance and handle policy endorsements.
Assist clients with billing questions and payment inquiries.
Process policy changes and communicate directly with insurance carriers.
Conduct proactive account reviews and client check-ins.
Maintain strong relationships with clients and carrier partners.
Manage policy renewals from start to finish.
Review coverage gaps and provide recommendations to clients.
Handle E&S renewals and remarketing when necessary.
Prepare proposals and renewal presentations.
Maintain accurate client documentation and agency management system records.
Follow up on outstanding underwriting requirements and policy documents.
Coordinate directly with underwriters regarding policy changes and coverage questions.

Sales & Business Development

Identify opportunities to increase coverage within existing accounts.
Cross-sell additional products such as Cyber, Professional Liability, Umbrella, Workers Compensation, EPLI, Crime, and other commercial coverages.
Assist with inbound leads and new business opportunities as needed.
Build long-term client relationships that drive retention and account growth.
Serve as a trusted advisor by educating clients on their exposures and insurance needs.

Qualifications

Active Property & Casualty Insurance License required.
Minimum of 1+ years of insurance experience preferred.
Previous experience servicing commercial accounts required.
Experience with E&S markets preferred.
Strong understanding of commercial insurance coverages, including:
General Liability
Property
Professional Liability
Cyber Liability
Workers Compensation
Umbrella
Management Liability products
Ability to independently manage client relationships.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Comfortable working in a fully remote environment.
Experience with agency management systems such as HawkSoft is a plus.
Experience working with multiple carriers and independent agencies preferred.
