About us

Thinque Prep is an Educational Consulting and Test Preparation and Tutoring Office in Lake Forest/Laguna Hills is looking to hire an administrative assistant to help with daily operations.

The purpose of this company is to help pick up slacks where the education system may be lacking. This boutique firm provides services in academic tutoring, test preparation, and college admissions counseling. As this is a small company, the owner of the company is seeking a administrative assistant who can also handle some day-to-day administrative work.

Administrative Responsibilities include (but are not limited to) the following:
-Making and answering phone calls
-Handling client inquiries
-Communicating with current and potential clients
-Managing and organizing online schedule for clients and tutors
-Filing and organizing
-Aesthetic upkeep, maintenance, and improvement of the space
-Proctoring exams
-Reconciliation of payments
-Research of topics within the field of education
-Assisting with the creation and distribution of marketing material

Sales Responsibilities include, but may not be limited to, the following:
-Handling initial calls with inquiring customers
-Setting appointments
-Following-up with leads and inquiries
-Creating marketing graphics to be distributed digitally.

The ideal candidate would be somebody who is interested in combining the fields of entrepreneurship and education and possess the following skills:

-Strong organizational ability
-Clear communication skills - both verbal and written
-Excellent customer service demeanor
-Creativity
-Attention to detail
-Ability to work independently
-Possible Weekend availability (Saturday and/or Sunday 9:30-2:30)

Additional Consideration will be given for the following:

-Ability to teach/tutor middle or high school topics
-Experience with Trello, Asana, ClickUp, or other project management software
-Experience with using and setting up CRMs
-Strong ties to an existing educational institution

This position will start off as a part-time but has the potential to become a full-time position. As this is a small boutique, the opportunity for profit-sharing and promotion is a strong possibility if the proper aptitude is demonstrated. Current college students are welcome to apply. Benefits will be made upon promotion to full-time.
