Full Job Description

Leading animal clinic in Manhattan is seeking a Client Manager. This is a great role for animal lovers who have strong experience in healthcare in a customer service capacity.

Position Summary
The Client Service Manager serves as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring an exceptional customer experience from initial inquiry through case resolution. This role is responsible for managing client communications, addressing concerns and complaints, coordinating with clinical and administrative teams, and ensuring all client issues are resolved promptly and professionally.

Key Responsibilities

Serve as the primary liaison for clients, delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring a positive experience throughout all interactions.
Receive, document, and investigate client concerns, complaints, and service-related issues, maintaining detailed records in the hospital's case management system.
Open, track, and manage client service cases from intake through resolution, ensuring timely follow-up and communication.
Collaborate closely with veterinarians, technicians, client service representatives, and hospital leadership to address and resolve client concerns.
Respond to a high volume of emails, phone calls, and written inquiries in a professional, empathetic, and solution-oriented manner.
Proactively follow up with clients regarding ongoing concerns, treatment-related questions, and service recovery efforts.
Monitor service trends and recurring issues, providing recommendations to leadership to improve client satisfaction and operational efficiency.
Escalate complex or sensitive matters to appropriate department leaders while ensuring accountability and timely resolution.
Maintain accurate documentation of all client interactions, complaints, resolutions, and follow-up activities.
Support the hospital's commitment to excellence by fostering strong client relationships and promoting a culture of exceptional customer service.

Qualifications

Strong customer service, conflict resolution, and communication skills.
Experience managing client concerns, complaints, or service recovery cases.
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
Proficiency with email communication, CRM systems, and case tracking tools.
Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced healthcare or veterinary environment.
