Job Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and passionate Instructor - Cloud Computing to join our innovative educational team. In this role, you will deliver engaging online instruction and classroom sessions focused on cloud technology, web development, and programming languages. Your expertise will empower students to develop practical skills in cloud infrastructure, programming, and modern IT solutions. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to shape the next generation of IT professionals through comprehensive lesson planning, interactive teaching methods, and real-world applications.

Duties

Deliver compelling online and classroom instruction on cloud computing concepts, tools, and platforms using Blackboard learning management system.
Develop detailed lesson plans that incorporate hands-on activities in web development, programming languages (JavaScript, Java, Python, C++, R), and frameworks like React and Node.js.
Guide students through practical exercises involving HTML, CSS, React Express, and other web technologies to build real-world applications.
Facilitate discussions and support working with students of diverse backgrounds in adult education settings to enhance their technical proficiency.
Assess student progress through assignments, projects, and exams; provide constructive feedback to foster continuous improvement.
Maintain an engaging learning environment by integrating current industry trends and best practices in cloud computing and information technology.
Collaborate with colleagues to refine curriculum content and incorporate innovative teaching strategies for online instruction.

Requirements

Proven experience in teaching or training in information technology or related fields, preferably with classroom experience.
Strong technical proficiency with cloud platforms (such as AWS or Azure), web development (HTML, CSS, JavaScript), and programming languages including Java, Python, R, C++, React, Node.js, and React Express.
Familiarity with Blackboard or similar online learning management systems for delivering remote instruction.
Demonstrated ability to design engaging lesson plans that incorporate both theoretical concepts and practical exercises.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to work effectively with students from diverse backgrounds in adult education environments.
Experience working with students in online instruction settings is highly desirable.
A background in teaching information technology topics such as cloud infrastructure, web development frameworks, or programming languages is preferred.
