About the Role

We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist specializing in 5-Axis operations to drive our precision manufacturing capabilities. In this role, you will translate complex engineering designs into high-quality aerospace components, leveraging your expertise in advanced CAM software and multi-axis machining to deliver mission-critical parts.

Responsibilities

Develop and refine sophisticated toolpaths using industry-standard CAM platforms to maximize machining efficiency.
Execute precise setups and operation of 5-axis milling centers to ensure consistent production quality.
Translate intricate CAD models and technical blueprints into finished hardware that meets rigorous specifications.
Conduct thorough first-article inspections and machine prove-outs to validate manufacturing processes.
Manage program versioning and technical documentation to maintain strict configuration control.
Partner with cross-functional engineering teams to troubleshoot production hurdles and optimize fabrication workflows.

Qualifications

Required Skills

3+ years of hands-on experience in 5-axis CNC programming and operation.
Proficiency in interpreting complex aerospace drawings and applying GD&T standards.
Proven ability to machine high-performance alloys such as titanium, stainless steel, and aluminum.
Expertise in maintaining tight tolerances within a high-precision manufacturing environment.
Strong background in CNC tooling selection and machine setup optimization.

Preferred Skills

Prior experience working within FAA-regulated manufacturing or similar high-compliance industries.
Familiarity with PMA, STC, or prototype-to-production lifecycles.
Experience utilizing advanced metrology tools for quality assurance and component validation.
