Job Title: Dental Medicaid & Insurance Front Office – Spanish Fluent
Location: Saint Charles, IL
Schedule: Full-Time (Tuesday–Thursday Schedule)
Pay: $20–$31/hr (Based on Experience)
Benefits: Eligible after probationary period

Position Summary:
Smyles & Company Family Dentistry is seeking a highly experienced, bilingual (Spanish) Front Office Insurance Specialist to join our compassionate, mission-driven dental team. We are a referral-based practice serving children with special healthcare needs—including those with cognitive, medical, developmental, and behavioral complexities.

This full-time position is ideal for someone who thrives in a structured, collaborative environment and has proven skills managing Medicaid and insurance operations with precision and integrity.

Key Qualifications – Candidates Will Be Performance Tested In:
✅ Entering and interpreting EOBs (Explanation of Benefits)
✅ Creating accurate and comprehensive VOBs (Verification of Benefits)
✅ Accessing, navigating, and retrieving Illinois HFS (Medicaid) eligibility data
✅ Generating and managing insurance spreadsheets and patient billing records
✅ Accurately posting and tracking insurance payments and recoupments
✅ Efficient navigation of Practice Management Software (Open Dental preferred)
✅ Demonstrating excellent customer service and patient communication
✅ Fluent communication in Spanish and English
✅ Strong team collaboration and reliability

Position Requirements:

Minimum 2 years of dental insurance billing experience required
Fluency in Spanish is mandatory
Strong understanding of Medicaid guidelines, billing, and recoupment protocols
Proficiency in Excel, Google Sheets, and digital communication tools
Detail-oriented, organized, and able to meet time-sensitive tasks independently
