Full Job Description

We're Hiring: Health Info Coder II (Remote with Initial Onsite Training)

We're looking for an experienced Health Info Coder II to join a leading healthcare organization on a 9-week contractwith the possibility of extension.

Location: Primarily Remote (Los Angeles, CA)
Mandatory Onsite Training: First 2–4 weeks at UCLA – 1145 Gayley Ave, Suite 391, Los Angeles, CA 90024
Schedule: Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Bill Rate: $74/hour

Required Qualifications:
2+ years of medical coding, billing, and abstracting experience
One of the following certifications:

CCS
CPC
CHONC
Strong knowledge of ICD-10, CPT, HCPCS, medical terminology, and anatomyExperience with physician clinic revenue cycle, professional fee coding, and multi-specialty billingFamiliarity with payer guidelines, documentation review, and coding compliance
Key Responsibilities:

✔ Charge Capture
✔ Claims Analysis & Evaluation
✔ EHR/Rx Validation
✔ Governance & Compliance
✔ Denial Management
✔ Medical Record Validation & Coding
✔ Ensure compliance with CMS, AHIMA, AAPC, and regulatory standards

Important: Candidates must be local to the Los Angeles area and able to attend the required onsite training for the first 2–4 weeks—no exceptions.
