Full Job Description

Headquartered in Atlanta, GA, Balta Rugs is a key player in the rug business. Part of global leader Balta Group, with customers in retail, home decor, and do-it-yourself stores all over the world. We aim to represent our Belgian roots and history in the US market.

This position reports to the Senior Vice President of Finance and will be based in our Rome, Georgia office for the first three months. After that period, the role will transition to our future Calhoun office location.

The Job

The Customer Compliance & Revenue Recovery Analyst is responsible for timely analysis of customer performance scorecards. This role proactively reviews customer portals to identify potential vendor fines, chargebacks, and performance violations, while owning the investigation and resolution of the scorecards. Additionally this role will own the full revenue recovery process for all unauthorized customer deductions. The analyst validates deduction accuracy, researches root causes and gathers supporting documentation for dispute of invalid deductions. The analyst serves as the key connection between external customer-expected performance and internal stakeholders, supporting accurate performance reporting, compliance management, and continuous improvement initiatives. The position requires close attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and strict adherence to customer-defined dispute processes and timelines.

Responsibilities:

Analyze customer portals (e.g., retail compliance platforms) for vendor fines, chargebacks, and compliance violations
Review shipping performance metrics: On-Time Delivery, PO Fill Rate, ASN accuracy and timeliness, Routing guide and labeling compliance
Identify root causes of performance failures that result in vendor fines
Partner with internal stakeholders to correct process gaps and prevent repeat violations
Owns investigation and resolution of customer account deductions, including validation of chargebacks and preparation of dispute documentation for recovery
Prepare and submit dispute packages and repayment requests through customer portals or direct communication
Track open deductions and dispute outcomes to resolution
Ensure timely follow-up on unresolved or rejected disputes
Maintain accurate records of vendor fines, deductions, disputes, and recoveries
Provide regular updates on compliance performance, financial impact, and recovery status

Requirements:

Minimum of 3-5 years of experience
Experience with performance compliance, chargebacks, deductions, logistics, and retail vendor relations
Operational knowledge of large retail customers (e.g., mass merchants or big-box retailers)
Hands on knowledge of customer portals and vendor performance metrics
Proficient in interpreting, and validating packing lists, bills of lading (BOLs), commercial invoices, and related shipping documents
Strong analytical skills to interpret data, identify trends, and dispute invalid deductions through customer controlled process.
Strong communication skills for cross-functional collaboration
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and collaborate as part of a team
