Full Job Description

The position is Remote but looking for workers that live in the North Idaho/Spokane, WA Area.

32-Hour Workweek (with potential for additional hours)
Saturday: 5am-5pm
Sunday: 5am-5pm
Tuesday: 8am-Noon
Wednesday: 8am-Noon

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled IT Support Engineer to provide comprehensive technical assistance and support to our organization. The ideal candidate will be responsible for troubleshooting hardware and software issues, managing IT infrastructure, and ensuring seamless operation of computer systems across the company. This role requires strong problem-solving abilities, excellent communication skills, and a customer-focused approach to deliver exceptional IT support to end-users.

Duties

Monitor service desk queues for incoming client technical support requests.
Provide remote technical support for desktop hardware, software, and connectivity related issues.
In conjunction with other support engineers, resolve tier 1 and tier 2 tasks: password resets, session unlocks, basic connectivity issues, printer issues, office moves, new user creation, cellular and desktop phone issues, software installation requests, etc.
Escalate all unresolved client technical support requests to senior engineering team as needed to maintain support request assignment and resolution standards and expectations.
Continuous review of open support requests. Verify status with engineering team, update status within systems, and communicate status with engineering team and client end-users.
In all phases of the position, clear, concise, and comprehensive verbal and written communication is expected.
Maintain documentation of client system configurations and repair and resolution procedures within service desk knowledge-base systems.
Maintain inventory of client supplies and equipment within service desk asset management systems.
Monitor status of client data backup jobs. Escalate unresolved backup issues to senior engineering team.
Excellent customer service skills
Strong desire to increase professional knowledge and interest in transitioning to a permanent position
Must be able to work successfully from home with quality internet access and computer/laptop.
Will be required to install corporate security software to ensure the safety and security of client data that you will be interacting with.

Skills

Demonstrated knowledge of current Microsoft Windows desktop and server operating systems, Microsoft Office desktop products, and Office 365.
POS (Point-of-Sale) experience a strong plus.
Demonstrated knowledge of current Mac, IOS, and Android operating systems.
Demonstrated knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory, DHCP and DNS management.
Demonstrated knowledge of Microsoft Exchange Server/Exchange Online a plus.
Demonstrated knowledge of VMware and Hyper-V virtualization a plus.
Demonstrated knowledge of RMM and ticking solutions.
Demonstrated knowledge of backup and disaster recovery administration.
Specialized knowledge to analyze and solve complex computer problems.
Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Ability to work independently or as part of a team in fast-paced environments while maintaining attention to detail. Minimum Experience

At least four (4) years working with computer hardware and software in a support role. Must have experience providing remote and in-person support.

Background and Drug Screening

Candidates will submit to a thorough background and drug screening prior to hiring and on occasion thereafter. We are a drug-free organization. Even in states that have legalized federally-outlawed substances, no federally-outlawed drug use will be tolerated and is subject to immediate dismissal. Pre-hire drug screen mandatory with post-hire tests as requested by employer.

Pay: $30.00 - $32.00 per hour

Expected hours: 32.0 per week
