Founded in 2015, the company serves a collection of seven world-class owned venues and a client roster of the most iconic arenas, stadiums, convention centers, music festivals, performing arts centers, and cultural institutions, spanning four continents.

Position Summary:

The Event Sales Coordinator is primarily responsible for overseeing all aspects of the events taking place in the venue including developing, detailing and coordinating all event related activities key to the operation of the facility including but not limited to markating support, event details, client communication, internal communications, invoicing, follow up, distribution of event information and customer service representation to our guests and logistics of departmental activities relating to events.

This role pays an hourly rate of $22.00 - $25.00

This position will remain open until July 31, 2026.

About the Venue:

The Carolina Club is located in the heart of the UNC_Chapel Hill campus. We host a wide range of events from business meetings, conferences, symposiums, weddings, social events and celebrations. Our wide variety of premier event spaces are perfect for any kind of event, from corporate seminars and board meetings to weddings and graduation parties.

Responsibilities:

Communicates all event information to the appropriate Departments and staff.
Develop, implement and manage event details and logistics in conjunction with all team members.
Develop accurate event menu and beverage information, and ensures that event set-ups are accurate.
Communicates in a timely manner with each Department Head regarding specific needs and information for each event.
Prepares and distributes Event Order Sheet to all staff and Departments in a timely manner.
Prepares post event report for all events coordinated.
Work with event planners to coordinate and facilitate client needs for each event and provide cost estimates as required/requested.
Preparation of and submission of expenses for event billing and invoices.
Executes other operational duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

4-year degree from a college or university preferred.
1-2 years of event sales experience with private clubs, hotels, convention centers, or similar venues preferred.
Ability to work flexible and sometimes demanding schedules (including nights, weekends, holidays and extended hours).
Experience with Microsoft Office products, CRM and evnet planning software.
Familarity with event billing and invoices a plus.
