PR Manager

Culver City, CA | Full-Time | On-Site

Waterless Beauty is the fastest-growing sector in the beauty industry, and Oliveda is at the forefront of this shift.

At Oliveda, we develop high-performance skincare powered by olive tree–based formulations, replacing water with nutrient-rich botanical actives. Our approach challenges conventional beauty standards by delivering concentrated, effective, and more sustainable products.

We are seeking a PR Manager to lead media strategy and strengthen Oliveda’s presence across top-tier beauty, wellness, and lifestyle platforms. This role will be instrumental in shaping brand perception, driving earned media, and building long-term relationships within the industry.

Role Overview

The PR & Media Relations Manager will be responsible for developing and executing strategic PR initiatives, managing media relationships, and ensuring consistent and impactful brand storytelling across all channels.

This role requires a strong understanding of the beauty landscape, an established media network, and the ability to translate brand positioning into relevant and compelling narratives.

Key Responsibilities

Media Strategy & Execution

Develop and implement PR strategies across national, regional, and trade media
Secure coverage in leading beauty, wellness, and lifestyle publications
Identify opportunities to increase brand visibility and relevance

Content & Messaging

Write, edit, and distribute press materials, including press releases and media kits
Ensure consistency in brand voice and positioning across all communications

Media Relations

Build and maintain relationships with editors, journalists, and industry stakeholders
Manage outreach, pitching, and follow-up communications
Coordinate interviews, features, and press opportunities

Paid Media

Support planning and execution of paid media placements in print and digital outlets
Align paid strategies with overall brand objectives

Events & Activations

Plan and execute press events and brand activations
Support product launches and key brand moments

Cross-Functional Collaboration

Partner with Marketing and internal teams to align messaging and initiatives
Contribute to broader communication strategies

Reporting & Insights

Monitor media coverage and analyze performance
Provide regular reporting and recommendations

Qualifications

5+ years of PR experience within beauty, wellness, or lifestyle
Strong relationships with top-tier media and proven placement track record
Experience writing press materials and managing media outreach
Familiarity with both earned and paid media strategies
Strong organizational and project management skills
Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
Clear and effective communication skills
