Position Overview:

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Culinary Professional to join our talented kitchen team. The ideal candidate will have experience working with fresh seafood and a commitment to maintaining the highest culinary standards. You will be responsible for preparing and presenting creative, high-quality dishes that align with our menu’s elevated seafood focus, contributing to our reputation as a leading destination for discerning diners.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and cook high-quality seafood dishes according to menu specifications, using fresh, seasonal ingredients.
Ensure that all food is prepared in accordance with food safety standards and restaurant policies.
Maintain a clean and organized kitchen, ensuring proper storage of ingredients and equipment.
Collaborate with the kitchen team to develop new dishes and specials that reflect the restaurant’s vision.
Monitor inventory levels and communicate any supply needs or shortages to management.
Uphold a positive, professional attitude and contribute to a respectful, team-oriented working environment.
Adhere to portion control, waste management, and food cost management procedures.
Assist in training junior kitchen staff and contribute to their development.
Handle high-pressure situations with composure, demonstrating a calm, solution-oriented approach.

Qualifications:

Experience: Minimum of 2-3 years of culinary experience, preferably in a seafood or fine-dining environment.
Knowledge: Strong understanding of seafood preparation techniques, flavor pairings, and presentation.
Skills: Excellent knife skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen.
Character: High level of personal integrity and accountability, with a commitment to upholding our restaurant’s standards and values.
Teamwork: Ability to work collaboratively with other kitchen and front-of-house staff, fostering a positive and supportive work culture.
Passion: A love for cooking and seafood, with a desire to continuously learn and improve.
