Full Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead complex software-focused development programs within the automotive industry. This role will be responsible for driving cross-functional projects from concept through production launch while coordinating engineering, software, integration, validation, and supplier teams.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong background managing automotive software development programs and have experience leading projects through the complete product development lifecycle.

Responsibilities

Lead cross-functional development programs involving software, hardware, integration, and testing teams.
Manage project scope, schedule, budget, quality, and deliverables.
Develop and maintain project plans, milestones, schedules, and dependency tracking.
Coordinate activities across engineering, product management, suppliers, and key stakeholders.
Drive execution from concept development through validation, industrialization, and product launch.
Monitor project risks and implement mitigation strategies.
Facilitate communication and alignment across multiple teams and organizations.
Track resource utilization, project costs, and budget performance.
Prepare project status updates, executive reports, and milestone review materials.
Ensure adherence to quality, safety, cybersecurity, and regulatory requirements.
Utilize project management and collaboration tools to support successful execution.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline.
5+ years of Project Management experience.
Automotive software development program management experience.
Experience leading cross-functional engineering projects.
Strong planning, scheduling, budgeting, and risk management skills.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with Software Defined Vehicle (SDV) environments.
Knowledge of systems integration, verification & validation, and vehicle architectures.
Experience with Agile methodologies and tools such as Jira and Confluence.
Familiarity with functional safety standards such as ISO 26262.
PMP certification is a plus.
