STATUS: Full-time, Hourly, Non-Exempt
HOURS: Regular business hours plus weekends and evenings
AGE REQUIREMENT: Age 21+
OBJECTIVE: Responsible for elevating the quality, consistency, and efficiency of education partnerships, particularly within the Salesforce ecosystem and serving as the connective tissue between External Affairs and Philanthropy. Ensure high-value relationships with community based-organizations, corporate partners, and philanthropic funders are nurtured and sustained through exceptional stewardship and strategic coordination.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS / EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Bachelor’s degree in science, education, communication or related field required. 3-5 years’ experience in public facing programmatic delivery and/or operations required. Previous museum, stewardship, relationship management or similar experience required. Works well in a dynamic, collaborative team environment; is flexible and organized; possesses excellent written and verbal communication skills.
ACCOUNTABILITIES/ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS include, but are not limited to:

Serve as the lead steward of existing and new education partners, ensuring timely communication, responsive service, and consistent engagement aligned with COSI’s strategic objectives.

Support and coordinate cross-functional collaboration and communication between departments, including External Affairs and Philanthropy to ensure a seamless partner experience.

Develop and implement feedback mechanisms, such as surveys, listening sessions, and strategic reviews, to ensure continuous improvement in partnership quality and delivery.

Represent COSI at community events such as Columbus Metropolitan Club and Chamber of Commerce events to initiate and nurture partnership development.

Lead or support cross-functional COSI strategic program activations, such as workforce development programs and the Ohio State Fair.

Lead the operational integration and tracking of partnerships within the Salesforce platform.

Ensure accurate and timely data entry and dashboard maintenance to inform internal stakeholders and funders.

Work in close collaboration with Salesforce Administrator to build and refine reporting that support partner engagement.

Represent the External Affairs team in cross-departmental meetings related to external partnership strategy, funding alignment, and stakeholder cultivation.

Collaborate with Philanthropy to identify stewardship opportunities that enhance donor-partner relationships.

Develop and maintain a working knowledge of the Global Learning curriculum including:

Philosophy, policies, and educational methods and techniques.

Function, performance, and operation of all onsite and offsite program elements.

Setup, cleanup, maintenance, and emergency procedures.

Support general COSI operations through participation in meetings and development functions, such as all team meetings, as appropriate.

Serve as an example to other COSI team members in matters of appearance, attitude and performance in the mode that best serves COSI's Team Members and guests.

Perform other administrative duties within the scope of position as assigned by the Chief of Global Learning Experiences and STEAM Partnerships.
