Full Job Description

Position Overview

We are looking for a talented and organized Creative Manager/Graphic Designer/Content Creator to primarily serve as the bridge between our account management and creative teams as well as produce your own content for our various product needs. This is a hands-on leadership role suited for a design professional who thrives in a fast-paced boutique environment. You will own the creative workflow from kickoff to concept, ensuring every project is thoughtfully developed, on-brand, and on time, and able to produce quality content of your own. The right candidate will be someone with strong instincts, a great attitude, and the drive to grow with us. We will invest in training the right person.

Key Responsibilities:

Creative Intake & Project Kickoff

Partner with Account Managers to review client marketing plans and gather all necessary details for creative assignments.
Lead kickoff meetings with the Senior Designer and broader creative team to align on scope, direction, and deadlines.
Ensure every project is set up for success before design work begins, proactively identifying gaps or questions early.

Creative Review & Concept Development

Serve as the first reviewer on all creative projects, evaluating both design and copy for quality, consistency, and strategic alignment.
Collaborate with the Senior Designer to develop and refine campaign concepts across all channels and formats.
Review and edit copy as needed; write original copy for campaigns when skill set and capacity allow.
Maintain brand standards across all client deliverables.
Leverage AI tools to accelerate content development, generate copy drafts, and support creative concepting. Then apply your own judgment and creative instincts to refine and elevate the output.

Social Media Content & Design

Write social media content and develop creative concepts for client social channels.
Produce artwork and graphics for social media content.
Stay current on social media trends, platform best practices, and emerging formats, including AI-powered tools that enhance content creation and improving campaign results.

Creative Team Support

Serve as backup support and a hands-on resource for the Senior Designer during high-volume periods.
Help maintain creative workflow efficiency across multiple client projects simultaneously.
Contribute to a collaborative, positive, and solutions-oriented team culture.

Qualifications:

Required

Bachelor's degree or formal professional training in Graphic Design (required).
3 to 5 years of professional design experience, preferably within an agency setting.
Copywriting experience with the ability to develop original content for campaigns and social media.
Familiarity with social media content strategy and platform-specific design requirements.
Demonstrated experience managing a creative department, workflow, or project pipeline.
Expert-level proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign.
Strong eye for design, typography, and brand consistency.
Solid understanding of marketing principles and how creative supports campaign strategy.
Excellent written communication skills with the ability to review and refine copy.
Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
Comfortable working remotely and collaborating across a distributed team.
Open to and comfortable with using AI tools as part of your daily workflow. We actively use AI to work smarter and expect our team to do the same.

Preferred / Bonus Skills

Experience working with agency tools such as Workamajig, Sprout Social, or similar platforms.
Hands-on experience using AI tools (ChatGPT, Claude, Adobe Firefly, or similar) for content creation, copy drafting, or creative ideation.
Basic video or motion graphics skills are a plus.
