Full Job Description

Job Overview
We are seeking a organized and detail-oriented Accounting Specialist to join our accounting department. In this role, you will be responsible for managing a wide range of accounting functions, process accounts payable and accounts receivable, ensuring accuracy and compliance with financial standards.

Duties

Accounts Payable: Process vendor invoices, verify expense reports, enter company credit card transactions, issue payments, and resolve discrepancies.
Accounts Receivable: Generate invoices, record cash receipts, and manage collections on past-due accounts. Reconcile customer balances weekly.
Vendor and client account management.
Account reconciliations and assistance with month-end and year-end close processes.

Qualifications & Skills

Associate's degree or 2-4 years of progressive accounting, bookkeeping, or related financial experience
Excellent data entry skills and attention to detail for maintaining accurate financial records using QuickBooks accounting software. Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
Apply knowledge of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles).
Familiarity with technical accounting practices including journal entries, double-entry bookkeeping, and account reconciliation processes.
Strong analytical and organizational skills.
Multitasking ability to work on multiple tasks throughout the day.
Time management skills to ensure that daily processes are completed based on priority level.

Pay: $26.00 - $30.00 per hour
