About Us

Homeward Bound Wrap, LLC is a California High Fidelity Wraparound (HFW) services provider supporting adoptive and foster families through intensive, individualized, family-centered care. We serve youth and families funded through the Adoption Assistance Program (AAP), partnering closely with San Diego County to deliver services with fidelity, compassion, and cultural responsiveness.

Position Summary

The Therapist provides clinical services to youth and families enrolled in the HFW program, delivering trauma-informed, evidence-based therapeutic interventions aligned with each family's individualized Plan of Care. Working as an integrated member of the Child and Family Team (CFT), the Therapist supports youth with complex behavioral health presentations — including trauma, RAD, ODD, ADHD, and co-occurring conditions — within a strengths-based Wraparound framework.

Key Responsibilities

Provide individual and family therapy to HFW-enrolled youth and caregivers
Collaborate with the HFW Facilitator, Family Specialist, Parent Partner, and Youth Partner to align therapeutic goals with the Plan of Care
Conduct clinical assessments and contribute to IP-CANS integration and care planning
Deliver trauma-informed interventions (e.g., TF-CBT, PCIT, or equivalent modalities)
Participate in Child and Family Team meetings and provide clinical input on family progress
Support crisis assessment and safety planning in coordination with the HFW team
Maintain timely, accurate clinical documentation meeting AAP and CA HFW standards
Engage families in culturally humble, individualized, and strengths-based practice

Qualifications

Active California licensure as an LCSW, LMFT, LPCC.
Experience working with children, adolescents, and families in a community-based setting
Training in trauma-focused modalities required
Familiarity with adoption dynamics, attachment disorders, and complex behavioral presentations preferred
Experience with High Fidelity Wraparound or intensive family-centered services preferred
Strong written and oral communication skills
Cleared criminal background check required
Valid California Driver's License and reliable transportation required
Completion of California Mandated Reporter and Sexual Harassment Prevention training required

Schedule

Flexible, including some evening hours to accommodate family availability. Community-based in and around San Diego County.

Pay: $175.00 - $225.00 per hour

Work Location: Hybrid remote in San Diego County, CA
