AEEC is currently seeking a Business Intelligence & Report Writing Specialist to support our Federal Customer at the customer’s location in Washington, DC. The Business Intelligence (BI) & Report Writing Specialist will provide critical data analysis, reporting, and business intelligence support to facilitate procurement and management decision-making. This role focuses on gathering, analyzing, and synthesizing complex acquisition data into standard and custom ad-hoc reports. U.S. Citizenship is a requirement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Data Analysis & Reporting: Gather, analyze, and report on acquisition data to support management, business operations, and procurement decision-making.
- Report Generation: Develop and deliver standard and custom ad-hoc reports utilizing various reporting tools and databases.
- System Integration: Extract, analyze, and interpret data across multiple procurement and operations systems, including PRISM, FPDS-NG, CPARS, SharePoint, and Office 365.
- Query Development: Write and execute complex database queries to pull specific data sets for specialized analysis.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Advanced SQL & Database Management: Expert knowledge and hands-on experience with Structured Query Language (SQL), SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS), SQL Server Report Builder, SQL Report Writer, and executing custom SQL Oracle/Microsoft queries.
- Data Visualization & Reporting Tools: Proficiency in Microsoft Power BI and SAP’s Crystal Reports / Business Objects software.
- Advanced Excel: Deep understanding of advanced Microsoft Excel functionalities for data manipulation and analysis.
- Procurement Data Systems: Familiarity with procurement and administrative systems like FPDS-NG, CPARS, and SharePoint.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills to collaborate effectively with both technical teams and non-technical stakeholders, and interpret complex reporting requirements.
Preferred Qualifications (A Plus):
- Unison PRISM Database Experience: Expert knowledge of the Unison PRISM system and its unique underlying data structure and data elements.

Employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust and focus.
