Data Modeling, Data Replication Framework, Process Modeling, Data Migration, Workflow, UI Modeling and DIF

Job Description

Maintains standards and guidelines relating to logical and physical data model management including naming, versioning, model linking, model sub-setting.

Administer data model central repository, data model administration and coordination.

Deliver user support for data modeling platforms including access management.

Deliver training and tutorials for data model producers and consumers.

Propose and execute improvements and enhancements to data modeling tool and repository technologies, workflow, and governance.

Contribute to planning for future enhancements and additions to existing data modeling tools, processes, standards, and guidelines.

Mandatory Skills Description:

A minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience working with data models and data model repositories.

Knowledge of logical and physical data modeling.

Strong interpersonal skills and excellent communication and presentation skills.

Preferred:

Knowledge of metadata management and related tools.

Experience with Erwin Workgroup edition data modeling tool including Erwin's model repository, preferred.

Generating reports using tools such as Power BI, SSRS or Excel (Pivot) that could be used to send information to diverse group of users.

Troubleshooting and resolving production data loads and participates in root cause analysis for failures. Optimizing queries by creating various clustered, non-clustered indexes and indexed views.
