Job Overview

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Document Control Specialist to join our dynamic team. In this pivotal role, you will oversee the management, organization, and integrity of critical project documentation and data assets. Your expertise will ensure compliance with regulatory standards, facilitate seamless information flow across departments, and support data governance initiatives. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the efficiency of our data management processes while working in a collaborative, fast-paced environment that values innovation and precision.

Duties

Develop, implement, and maintain document control procedures to ensure consistency and accuracy across all project documentation.
Manage the lifecycle of documents including creation, review, approval, distribution, and archiving using advanced document management systems.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to facilitate data collection, validation, and updates within various database systems such as Oracle, SQL databases, and data warehouses.
Monitor data quality through regular audits and utilize data analytics tools like Tableau and business intelligence platforms to identify discrepancies or areas for improvement.
Support regulatory compliance management by ensuring documentation aligns with industry standards and internal policies.
Lead efforts in master data management (MDM) initiatives to unify and standardize core business data across systems.
Utilize ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) tools like Informatica or Talend for efficient data integration from multiple sources including big data environments.
Design and optimize data models for database systems and data warehouses to enhance analysis capabilities.
Implement data governance frameworks focusing on information governance, data quality monitoring, and data collection strategies.
Facilitate agile project management practices to streamline workflows and improve team collaboration on document-related projects.

Qualifications

Proven experience in database management with strong knowledge of SQL databases such as Oracle or similar systems.
Demonstrated expertise in data analysis skills using tools like Tableau, spreadsheets, or other business intelligence platforms.
Familiarity with ETL processes and tools such as Informatica or Talend for effective data integration.
Strong understanding of regulatory compliance management and information governance principles.
Experience in master data management (MDM), data quality management, and database design is highly desirable.
Proficiency in analyzing large datasets (big data) using advanced analytics techniques to support decision-making processes.
Excellent cross-functional communication skills to collaborate effectively across departments and stakeholders.
Ability to lead projects related to data collection, database system enhancements, and process improvements within an agile environment.
Knowledge of Python programming for automation tasks related to data processing is a plus.
Leadership qualities that foster teamwork, innovation, and continuous improvement in document control practices.
