Dear job surfer, or as we prefer to think of you - our "friendly, forward-thinking, fervid, future employee of PJ's Plumbing & Heating," WELCOME TO OUR JOB POSTING!!! To be honest, we're not entirely sure what fervid means, but we wanted one more "f" word in there (no, not that "f" word) to really drive home the alliteration and it was between that and "flibbertigibbet". I think we chose the right one. But I digress. Back to the scripted infomercial where we sell you on why our product is the best thing ever and how it is going to make your wildest dreams come true.

Ok, here we go...

We are a small, EMPLOYEE-OWNED, fun, family-oriented, and close-knit company currently looking for awesome licensed Journeyman Plumbers and Master Plumbers to help us grow in Bozeman, Montana on both our service and construction teams! $42 - $48/hour - based on experience and job position ($87,000 - $100,000 not including bonuses and overtime opportunities)

Requirements

Ability to follow company safety policies
Demonstrate willingness to invest in tools used for installation of plumbing systems for advancement
Demonstrate willingness to invest time in training seminars and classes
Work from 28’ extension ladder and 12’ step ladder
Demonstrate strong knowledge of plumbing tools and flow devices
Insurable driving record
Demonstrate at least minimal knowledge of hydronic design principles
Demonstrate advanced field & shop fabrication capabilities
Use proper procedures for ordering materials & planning. · Demonstrate advanced customer service skills
Installation of plumbing to code while working independently
Ability to interpret & comprehend a manufactures installation manual.
Licensed Journeymen Plumber

Job Duties

Arrive at jobsite at scheduled time and location as dispatched
Relocate from one jobsite to another jobsite as dispatched during the workday
Communicate with the dispatcher to update the daily communication log
Possess basic working knowledge of hydronic piping / plumbing design principles
Demonstrate advance knowledge for proper interpretations of pressure testing devices Implement knowledge & use for all testing devices
Operate company vehicle as needed
Report problems with company tools or vehicle promptly
Report problems or questions with installation scope of work to Install Supervisor or Team Leader
Maintain professional appearance and attitude at all times
Possess enhanced customer service skills.
Complete all install related forms properly while on the job site and turn in on time
Inform and educate customers on additional products or services available through company
Follow instructions from supervisor and/or dispatcher and carry out in timely manner · Perform proper cutting and grooving unassisted
Demonstrate skills to read blue prints & diagrams for proper installation · Demonstrate ability install all plumbing applications to code.
Purchase / Maintain required tool list
Implement knowledge for proper flue & equipment installation.
Show knowledge or ability to learn to install snowmelt systems
Demonstrate basic knowledge and ability to read and interpret wiring schematics
