Crew Leader / Field Operations Supervisor Join a Growing Construction Team
We are seeking an experienced, motivated, and organized Crew Leader to oversee daily field operations throughout Southwest Florida. This position is responsible for leading our field crews, ensuring projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards while providing exceptional customer service.
The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader with strong communication skills, excellent organizational abilities, and the confidence to manage multiple projects and crews simultaneously. This role serves as the bridge between our field personnel, clients, sales team, and project management staff.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, direct, supervise, and motivate field crews to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality project completion.
- Organize and manage daily crew schedules, work assignments, and manpower allocation across multiple active jobsites.
- Track crew locations and deployment to maximize productivity and maintain project timelines.
- Accurately manage employee timekeeping, work hours, and daily production reporting.
- Maintain accountability for all company tools, equipment, and materials, ensuring they are properly secured, maintained, and inventoried.
- Conduct regular jobsite inspections to verify workmanship, safety compliance, and adherence to company standards.
- Meet with homeowners, commercial clients, and project stakeholders to review project scope, provide progress updates, and address questions or concerns.
- Coordinate and schedule meetings with prospective clients when requested to support business development efforts.
- Conduct client hand-off meetings following contract execution, ensuring a smooth transition from the Sales team to Project Management.
- Communicate effectively with project managers regarding scheduling, job progress, labor needs, and potential challenges.
- Maintain a professional, solution-oriented attitude while representing the company on every jobsite.
- Perform additional duties as assigned that support the successful completion of company projects.
Qualifications
- Previous experience leading construction crews or serving in a construction foreman, superintendent, or crew leader role.
- Strong knowledge of residential and/or commercial construction practices.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to organize multiple crews and manage several active projects simultaneously.
- Experience with scheduling, timekeeping, and daily field reporting.
- Comfortable interacting professionally with clients and maintaining positive customer relationships.
- Ability to read project plans and communicate project expectations clearly to field personnel.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to lift materials and work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
