Full Job Description

Premier Health Group is a multi-disciplinary practice with a focus on wellness and pain management as well as vascular diseases. The practice is dedicated to improving the quality of life for our patients. We specialize in managing vascular diseases, musculoskeletal pain, and diabetes, with a focus on providing comprehensive and compassionate care. Our team is committed to delivering exceptional service and innovative treatments to help our patients achieve optimal health.

Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced and well-connected Business Development Manager to lead and manage referral relationships for the practice. This role is responsible for maintaining and expanding a strong referral network, driving patient growth, and strengthening partnerships across the medical community.

The ideal candidate already has established relationships with PCPs, PT/Chiropractors, OB/GYNs, Internists, and other key referring providers within the local market. This is a strategic, field-based role requiring prior healthcare business development experience and a proven track record of referral growth.

***This is not an entry-level position.

Responsibilites

Referral Relationship Management (Primary Focus)

Own and manage existing referral relationships across assigned territories.
Strengthening relationships with PCPs, PT/Chiros, OB/GYNs, Internists, Podiatrists, and specialty providers.
Conduct consistent in-person visits to maintain visibility and engagement.
Identify referral trends, gaps, and opportunities for re-engagement.
Proactively address declines in referral volume and implement recovery strategies.
Serve as the primary liaison between referring providers and internal clinical teams.

Strategic Growth & Network Expansion

Leverage existing professional relationships to expand referral channels.
Identify and onboard new referral partners within targeted specialties.
Develop territory-based growth strategies by specialty and geography.
Introduce physicians to referring providers to strengthen clinical collaboration.
Represent the practice at medical offices, networking events, and industry functions.

Data, Reporting & Performance Accountability

Track referral patterns, provider engagement, and growth metrics using CRM.
Analyze data to identify high-performing and underperforming referral sources.
Provide weekly and monthly reports on activity, pipeline growth, and opportunities.
Collaborate with leadership on quarterly growth planning and strategy.

Required Qualifications

Minimum 5+ years of experience in healthcare business development, physician marketing, device sales, or medical sales.
Established and active relationships with PCPs, PT/Chiropractors, OB/GYNs, Internists, and related specialties in the local market.
Proven track record of increasing referral volume and managing provider accounts.
Strong understanding of healthcare referral dynamics and patient flow..
Proficiency with CRM systems and referral tracking tools.
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Preferred

Bachelor’s Degree.
Strong local market knowledge (Bergen, Passaic, Essex, Morris, Middlesex counties)
Experience with generating surgical referrals.
Knowledge of HIPAA and healthcare compliance.

Success Metrics

Performance will be measured by:

Growth in procedure volume across assigned specialties.
Retention and expansion of existing referral relationships.
New referral relationships established per quarter.
Measurable contribution to new patient growth goals.

Base Salary: $100,000 +Bonus for hitting goals & targets.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $100,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
