Experienced CPA - Path to Partner

Are you an experienced CPA with a passion for helping small businesses and individuals navigate complex tax landscapes? Do you have the drive to take on a leadership role and build your own legacy? We're a well-established and growing public accounting firm in Ormond Beach, Florida, seeking a talented and motivated professional to join our team.

This is more than just a job; it's a clear path to firm ownership. We're looking for a CPA with a long-term vision, someone who wants to be a partner and play a key role in our firm's future. The ideal candidate will have the opportunity to take on significant responsibilities, build strong client relationships, and become a leader in both our firm and the community.

Responsibilities and Qualifications

As a key member of our team, you'll be responsible for the following:

Preparing and reviewing complex tax returns for small businesses, estates, trusts, and high-net-worth individuals.
Training and supervising junior staff to ensure a high standard of work and professional growth.
Actively recruiting new business and building a robust client portfolio.
Engaging with the local business community through participation in boards, chambers, and other professional organizations.
Developing and nurturing strong, long-term relationships with a sophisticated client base.

To be considered for this position, you must have:

A current CPA license.
At least 5 years of experience in public accounting, with a specialization in small business, estate, and personal income tax.
Strong technical skills and a proactive, problem-solving mindset.
The desire to live and work locally in the Ormond Beach, Florida area.
A strong interest in a long-term commitment with a clear goal of achieving partner status within 5 – 7 years.
