Are you a seasoned PBM or employer advisory professional who knows what it takes to drive large-scale healthcare decisions?

The Health Transformation Alliance (HTA) is seeking a commercially minded, relationship-driven Director, Rx Partnerships & Member Solutions. This isn’t a behind-the-scenes strategy role—this is a front-line opportunity to bring your real-world market credibility directly into the room with Member organizations and industry partners.

If you have firsthand experience navigating PBM negotiations, running RFP processes, and translating complex pharmacy concepts into clear, persuasive value, we want you on our team.

What You’ll Do

· Drive Member Engagement: Participate directly in executive discussions to position HTA’s Rx solutions, helping Member leadership evaluate and embrace our offerings within the context of their priorities.

· Shape & Refine Solutions: Evaluate our contract structures through an employer lens and recommend practical enhancements to ensure our solutions remain competitive and compelling in the market.

· Influence the PBM Ecosystem: Engage confidently as a peer-level voice with PBMs, advisors, and stakeholders, bringing your insight into how employers ultimately select their partners.

· Bridge Strategy and Reality: Surface real-world trends, market objections, and new opportunities to help HTA align broader internal initiatives with external market realities.

· Close the Deal: Translate complex contract structures into compelling narratives that provide credible perspective and help move deals forward.

What You Bring to the Table

· Deep Advisory Experience: Extensive background advising employers on pharmacy strategy or participating in PBM RFP and benefit consulting engagements.

· Ecosystem Expertise: Prior experience working alongside or within major consulting firms (such as Aon, Gallagher, Mercer, etc.).

· Executive Presence: A highly credible, "been in the room" demeanor with the ability to constructively challenge, persuade senior decision-makers, and build strong relationships.

· Commercial Acumen: An outcomes-oriented mindset comfortable operating in a fast-paced, evolving, and growth-focused environment.

Key Responsibilities

Member Engagement & Deal Advancement

Participate directly in Member discussions to position HTA’s Rx solutions and value proposition
Help Members evaluate HTA offerings within the context of PBM decision-making and employer priorities
Translate complex contract structures into clear, compelling narratives for Member leadership
Provide credible, experience-based perspective that helps move deals forward

Contract Positioning & Solution Design

Evaluate HTA contract structures through a commercial and employer lens
Recommend enhancements that make solutions more competitive and compelling
Collaborate with leadership to refine offerings based on real-world market dynamics
Balance innovation with practical adoption considerations

PBM & Advisor Ecosystem Influence

Leverage experience working alongside or within organizations such as Gallagher, Aon, Mercer, or major consulting firms
Bring insight into how PBM RFPs are evaluated and how employers ultimately select partners
Engage confidently with PBMs, advisors, and employer stakeholders as a peer-level voice

Strategic Contribution (Supporting Role)

Provide input into HTA’s broader Rx initiatives based on frontline Member conversations
Surface trends, objections, and opportunities observed in real engagements
Help bridge internal priorities with external market reality

Qualifications & Experience

Extensive experience advising employers on PBM or pharmacy strategy
Demonstrated history of influencing or supporting large employer healthcare decisions
Experience participating in PBM RFP processes or benefit consulting engagements
Strong commercial presence with the ability to persuade senior decision-makers
Comfortable operating in an evolving, growth-focused environment
