Job Overview

We are seeking an energetic and strategic Procurement Director to lead our procurement operations and drive excellence across our supply chain. In this pivotal role, you will oversee the end-to-end procurement process, manage vendor relationships, negotiate contracts, and implement innovative sourcing strategies. Your leadership will ensure the seamless acquisition of goods and services, optimize inventory management, and enhance overall supply chain efficiency. This position offers an exciting opportunity to shape procurement policies, leverage advanced ERP systems, and contribute to our company's growth and operational success.

Responsibilities

Develop and execute comprehensive procurement strategies aligned with organizational goals, focusing on cost efficiency, quality, and supplier reliability.
Lead procurement management activities using ERP systems such as SAP and Oracle EBS to streamline purchasing processes and automate procurement workflows.
Manage vendor contract negotiations, ensuring favorable terms, compliance, and risk mitigation while fostering strong supplier relationships.
Oversee sourcing initiatives for manufacturing materials, inventory control, logistics, and supply chain management to optimize inventory levels and reduce lead times.
Utilize Excel data analysis to monitor procurement performance metrics, identify opportunities for process improvements, and support strategic decision-making.
Implement and maintain automated procurement systems to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and transparency in purchasing activities.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including manufacturing, logistics, finance, and legal to ensure seamless contract management and vendor performance evaluation.

Experience

Proven experience in procurement management within a manufacturing or supply chain environment.
Extensive knowledge of ERP systems such as SAP and Oracle EBS for procurement processes.
Demonstrated success in vendor contract management, contract negotiation, and direct negotiation procurement strategies.
Strong background in sourcing, supply chain management, inventory management, and logistics coordination.
Proficiency in Excel data analysis for tracking KPIs related to procurement performance.
Familiarity with automated procurement systems and procurement contract management tools.
Excellent vendor management skills with a focus on building long-term supplier partnerships while controlling costs.
