Full Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic and strategic leader to serve as the Director of Leader Development. The Director of Leader Development (DLD) is responsible for building, implementing, and scaling leadership development strategies that strengthen the capabilities of leaders across the organization. This role drives a comprehensive learning strategy that supports supervisors, managers, and emerging leaders through improving improve leader onboarding experience, frontline leadership skills, enhance operational performance.

The Director of Leader Development partners closely with HR, operations leadership, and executive teams to design and deliver programs that improve leadership effectiveness, employee engagement, safety, retention, and overall organizational culture.

This role ensures that leaders at every level are equipped with the tools, training, and competencies necessary to successfully lead teams, drive results, and support organizational growth.

This is a remote role with a need of 25% -50% overnight travel nationwide.

Key Responsibilities:

· Develop and execute a comprehensive multi-level leadership development strategy that supports supervisors, managers, and emerging leaders at the delivery level.

· Define and establish leadership competencies, behaviors, and success profiles tailored to the delivery environment.

· Lead and develop a learner centric training strategy that ensures leaders receive relevant, practical, and impactful development experiences.

· Establish short- and long-term learning strategies that support leadership capabilities building.

· Create structured leadership curriculum including new leader onboarding programs, leadership workshops and digital learning resources.

· Leverage subject matter experts, external vendors and digital learning tools to build targeted leadership programs.

· Deliver quarterly updates to the organization on training outcomes, adoption, new programs, and upcoming releases.

· Support change management initiatives through targeted leadership training.

· Measure the impact and effectiveness of leadership development programs by establishing KPIs to evaluate training effectiveness, leadership capability growth, and programs’ ROI.

· Continuously improve programs based on feedback, results, and evolving business needs.

· Monitor trends in retention, engagement, and leadership performance.

· Partner with HR, Safety, Operations, and Workforce Management to ensure training supports critical business roles.

Qualifications:

· Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business or related field.

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

· 7+ years of experience in leadership development, learning strategy, organizational development, or talent development.

· Experience designing and delivering leadership training programs.

· Demonstrate strong leadership skills in team management, project management, and interacting with all levels of the organization, Confident in interactions with senior leadership.

· Proven ability to lead and manage change across a global organization.
