Job Title: High-Energy Country Based Nightclub DJ 80% COUNTRY MUSIC – The Double Deuce

Location: San Diego, CA (Gaslamp Quarter)

Schedule: Friday & Saturday Nights (Opportunity to Expand)

Double Deuce is San Diego’s original boot-stompin’, mechanical bull-ridin’ party destination. We bring a high-energy country-meets-party vibe with nonstop entertainment—from bull riding and karaoke to packed dance floors and interactive crowd experiences. If you know how to control a room, build energy, and keep people moving all night… this is your stage.

The Role

We’re looking for a high-energy, COUNTRY MUSIC DJ who knows how to read the room and keep the party going. This is not a “press play” gig—this is a fully interactive role where you are part of the show.

You’ll be on the mic, engaging the crowd, hyping up the room, and driving the energy alongside our staff, dancers, and entertainment.

What You’ll Do

DJ open format sets tailored to our crowd (COUNRTY, Top 40,throwbacks, party anthems)
Read the room and adjust music in real time to keep the dance floor packed
Be strong and confident on the mic—engaging, hyping, and directing the crowd
Work alongside our team to enhance key moments (bull riding, karaoke, Smoking Guns).
Create an interactive, high-energy party atmosphere every shift

What We’re Looking For

Must have nightclub and/or high-volume bar DJ experience
Strong mic presence and crowd control skills
Ability to mix seamlessly
High-energy personality with a fun, outgoing, and engaging presence
Reliable, professional, and able to perform in a fast-paced nightlife environment

Pay: $40.00 - $50.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10.0 – 15.0 per week

Work Location: In person
