Full Job Description

DUTIES:

Accounts payable -- review package of invoice and receiving document; prepare check run.

Banking -- daily cash management; reconcile bank accounts; loan covenant reports.

Payroll -- process payroll with payroll service; post payroll journal entry.

HR -- meet with new hires and set up with payroll service and describe benefits available; request background check.

Bookkeeping -- post monthly journal entries; prepare monthly financial reports.

Budgeting -- prepare annual budget.

Taxes -- prepare general excise tax returns; provide data to income tax return preparer; provide data for Form 5500.

Insurance -- prepare renewal applications.

Contracts -- maintain electronic copies of all contracts.

PRIMARY QUALIFICATIONS:

Thorough knowledge of the principles of accrual accounting. Ability to perform the duties described above. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Above average MS Excel skills.

SECONDARY QUALIFICATIONS:

Experience with Quickbooks software.

Experience in the health care industry.

SALARY RANGE:

$100,000 to $140,000, commensurate with experience, knowledge and skills.

REFERENCES:

References from three most recent supervisors required.

PARKING:

Employer-paid parking provided.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $100,000.00 - $140,000.00 per year
