POSITION SUMMARY

Works under the direct supervision of the Production Planning Supervisor. Supports Planning and Production by maintaining accurate records and preparing production work packages.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Continuously improves products and processes and participates in quality improvement teams when appropriate.

2. Responsible for ensuring on-time delivery of the work orders to production by maintaining productivity and following department schedules

3. Recommends ways to save money and cut unnecessary costs.

4. Responsible for satisfying the needs of internal and external customers by responding to customer requests, understanding customer requirements, and building successful, productive customer relations.

Maintains configuration control by utilizing/practicing Engineering/Document Control procedures.
Processes incoming documentation
Maintains controlled documents by updating satellite and Document Control files.
Filing of various documents.
Supports Lean Manufacturing and 5S.

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Follows all company safety policies and procedures.

2. Reacts to change productively and handles other duties as required.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

High school diploma or equivalent.

SKILLS, ABILITIES AND OTHER REQUIREMENTS

Basic computer skills necessary.

Previous experience working in ERP system

Prior experience working with configuration management system (e.g. Agile)

WORKING CONDITIONS

Office environment.

Works on computer 60% of the time.

ACCOUNTABILITY

Must maintain confidentiality on all proprietary information.

DEGREE OF SUPERVISION

This position reports to the Supply Chain Director and will require following instructions provided by the various Planning team members.

Accountability

This position is under ITAR (International Traffic in Arms Regulations) and must meet export control compliance requirements. To meet export control compliance requirements, a “U.S. Person” as defined by Title 22 of Code of Federal Regulations (C.F.R.) §120.15 is required. “U.S. Person” includes U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.
