Full Job Description

Role and Responsibilities:

Scan customer records in order to complete BTCO’s mission: To provide superior customer services through a fully integrated workforce that promotes technical careers for people of all abilities.

Requires organizational ability to keep customer documents in the order they were received. Paperwork must be neat and processed according to the project instructions.
Verify documents with box inventories, including reviewing folder names with the box inventory page to catch errors when needed.
Display the ability to consistently meet production requirements on time and quality.
Display the ability to consistently use the scan software and machines required by each project assigned.
Requires manual dexterity to load a scanner with multiple documents or Microfiche at a time or feeding single page documents or Microfilm through the scanner.
Review documents to ensure accuracy when they need to be scanned in grayscale, color, or black and white.
Review the documents on a screen as they scan to ensure quality. Problem solving errors when they occur.
Utilize the tracking sheets as required by the project to ensure accurate reporting of scanned documents, Microfilm, or Microfiche.
Clean and troubleshoot scanning hardware according to manufacturer recommendations.
Marginal tasks may include but are not limited to: Document preparation, quality control, research, index, and box moving.
Employees are expected to:
Maintain confidentiality when handling customer records in compliance with HIPAA and State and Federal laws.
Uphold BTCO policies and procedures.
Follow all instructions both written and verbal.
Perform additional duties as directed by a Lead, Assistant Site Supervisor, and Site Manager.
Maintain a clean, safe, and orderly working area.
Share recommendations to improve work product, work environment, and project success.
Job Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalency
Familiarity with computer operations
Basic Microsoft windows computer operation skills required

Typical Mental Demands

Ability to focus on tasks and follow a sequential process. Treat peers, supervisors, and customers with courtesy, honesty, and integrity. Must be willing and able to work under direct supervision.

Typical Physical Demands

Requires sitting, standing, bending, and reaching. May require lifting up to 50 pounds or more. Requires manual dexterity sufficient to operate machines such as digital equipment, computers, copier, fax and telephone.

Pay: $12.00 - $16.00 per hour
