Full Job Description

Administrative Customer Support Associate

At NorthShore Dock & Marine LLC we count on exceptional communication and customer service to set our business apart. We’re looking to add an individual with a positive and helpful attitude to our customer support team. The ideal candidate will have experience or interest in working in customer service, performing administrative tasks, communicating information clearly and accurately and providing support to managers. Because of the collaborative nature of this role, the candidate should also have superior written and verbal communication skills. We’re seeking a friendly and focused individual who can operate in a fast-paced environment and provide high-quality service.

Responsibilities and Objectives of this role

Interact with customers, listen to their questions and concerns and provide timely responses
Accurately gather and document customer scheduling data via phone and email
Educate clients about the company’s products, services and offers
Answer multiline phone system and direct callers to appropriate departments
Take complete and accurate messages
Enter customer contact information into our system for work orders and billing
Verifying accuracy of data entry by comparing it to source documents
Follow direction and procedures established by our company
Scan and print files when requested
Contact customers when needed to verify information

Required skills and qualifications

Ability to learn our company services and procedures in order to provide a high level of customer service.
Ability to adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced office
Exceptional organization & prioritization skills
Accurate and efficient typing and note taking ability
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Proficiency with spreadsheets and online forms
Ability to maintain confidentiality of company information
Strong work ethic and commitment to high standards of accuracy

Software proficiency – MS Excel and/or Google Sheets

$18-24 hour
